Do you wish to stay near the WOC venue at Mørk? Book accommodation in Skiptvet now!

A lot of people have already registered for the spectator races during the World Orienteering Championships in Østfold 12-17 August 2019. Many also need a place to stay during the orienteering festival.

 

Accommodation will be available in Skiptvet town, just a few kilometres from the main WOC venue. Local community associations have teamed up with the local council in order to offer reasonably priced accomodation for visitors.

Two options are available: Indoor on hard surface or in lavvos (Sami tents). The accommodation area is very compact and close to local amenities of all sorts. Free WIFI will be available in several locations. Breakfast and dinner will be served in Vonheim, a community hall. Grocery shops are located about one kilometre from the accommodation.

The WOC arena is 12 kilometres away. Buses will be organised between the accommodation and the venue for the races.

One of the options is to sleep in the Skiptvet Sport Hall. The hall will be divided into zones and each zone will have room for 10 people. Showers and free WIFI is available in the sport hall. Food will be served next door. There is room for a total of 120 persons in the sport hall.

The price for each zone incl. breakfast is NOK 2500 per night (for maximum 10 people).

The other option is Sami tents (lavvos). There will be tents with room for 8-10 persons and 16 persons respectively. The distance from the food hall is 150 meters. Free WIFI will be available in the tent area and showers can be taken in the sport hall or in the sport club house close to the tents.

Price per tent for maximum 8-10 people including breakfast is NOK 2500 per night.

Price per tent for maximum 16 people including breakfast is NOK 4000 per night.
